Doesn't sound good!

This doesn't sound good. The only one or two successful series do not get them to anywhere yet. They should be together with the same company and product many more successful stories, then they can think to go on their own.

Looking at the multimedia and animation industry in Malaysia, it is still young. Les Copaque is among the first and could be the most successful company so far if we judge from Upin and Ipin popularity. But one cannot be so proud with one good story. It should not end there.

With the set up of their own by the original boys of Les Copaque, it mean they will start from all over again. It will be unnecessary to the industry and to the company. For one brand or story to be picked up by public, it will take another marketing cycle again - looks like at least two years or more, if based on Upin and Ipin.

Again, as the Malaysia market is not that big, it may not be necessary for this time Malaysia to have many competing animation studio. Though it may be targeted for global market, local players should not competing but it is better to be under one roof.

I believe we need to wait for at least another two year before we can meet another new local animation here come in public. Surely my little daughter will miss Upin and Ipin new story.
